Cooperation with the Serbian Orthodox Church
Baring in mind the Karic family's loyalty to the Orthodox faith and tradition,
the Foundation deems the renewal and strengthening of Serbian spirituality
as its most important task. Therefore the Karic Foundation cherishes good
relations with the Patriarchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and has endowed the Church
with temples and monasteries in Serbia and Montenegro, and also throughout the Serbian
diaspora, helping the renovation of churches and Serbian sacraments. The Karic family and
the Foundation have been regularly helping other important holy places in Kosovo such as
the Patriarchy in Pec and the monastery Visoki Decani. |
| The Karic family raised a small temple to the Holy Trinity in Pec.
With this endowment in Kosovo where the family has its origins and has lived for more than
four hundred years, they wanted to leave a monument to their gratitude and loyalty to the
Church. This is the first newly consecrated Church to be built in this part of Serbia for
several centuries. |

donations to the monastery Hilandar on several occasions. It bought two
bells and transported them from Russia for the church in Niksic, and on behalf of the
family and the Foundation the BK group vice president Dragomir Karac donated a cheque for
100,000 dollars for the construction of an Orthodox temple in Canada.
